01총칙

그로스메이트(이하 "회사")는 모바일 애플리케이션 "히가랜"(Higaran, 이하 "서비스")을 운영하면서 이용자의 개인정보 보호를 매우 중요하게 생각합니다. 본 개인정보처리방침은 「개인정보 보호법」, 「정보통신망 이용촉진 및 정보보호 등에 관한 법률」 및 관련 법령을 준수합니다.

02수집하는 개인정보

회사는 서비스 제공을 위해 이용자로부터 직접 개인정보를 수집하지 않습니다. 회원가입, 로그인 절차가 없으며 이용자는 별도의 정보 입력 없이 서비스를 이용할 수 있습니다.

다만 다음의 정보가 자동으로 수집되거나 제3자에 의해 수집될 수 있습니다:

가. 자동 수집 정보

  • 학습 진행 상태(틀린 문자 목록, 선택한 언어 등) — 이용자의 기기에 로컬로만 저장되며 외부 서버로 전송되지 않습니다
  • 서비스 이용 중 발생하는 일반적인 기기 정보(예: 화면 크기, 운영체제 종류)

나. 제3자(광고 파트너) 수집 정보

본 서비스는 Google AdMob을 통해 광고를 표시합니다. Google AdMob은 광고 송출 및 효과 측정을 위해 다음 정보를 수집할 수 있습니다:

  • 광고 식별자(AAID, Advertising ID)
  • 기기 정보(모델명, OS 버전, 언어 설정)
  • IP 주소 및 대략적인 위치 정보
  • 광고 노출 및 클릭 기록

05개인정보의 제3자 제공

회사는 이용자의 개인정보를 제3자에게 제공하지 않습니다. 다만 광고 표시를 위해 Google AdMob이 직접 일부 정보를 수집하며, 이는 Google의 개인정보처리방침에 따라 처리됩니다.

06맞춤형 광고와 광고 식별자

본 서비스에서 표시되는 광고는 이용자의 광고 식별자(AAID)에 기반하여 맞춤형으로 제공될 수 있습니다. 이용자는 기기 설정에서 광고 식별자를 재설정하거나 맞춤형 광고를 비활성화할 수 있습니다.

07아동의 개인정보 보호

본 서비스는 만 13세 미만 아동의 개인정보를 의도적으로 수집하지 않습니다. 만약 만 13세 미만 아동의 정보가 수집된 사실이 확인되면 즉시 삭제 조치합니다.

이용자는 언제든지 다음 권리를 행사할 수 있습니다:

TL;DR. Higaran does not collect personal information directly from users. However, Google AdMob ads displayed within the app may collect some device information to serve ads.

01Overview

Growthmate ("we," "us," or "the Company") operates the mobile application "Higaran" (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy describes how information is handled when you use the Service. We comply with applicable laws including Korea's Personal Information Protection Act and the EU GDPR where applicable.

02Information We Collect

We do not directly collect any personal information from you. The Service does not require account registration or login, and you can use it without entering any personal data.

A. Automatically Collected (Stored Locally)

  • Learning progress data (e.g., incorrect characters list, selected language) — stored locally on your device only, not transmitted to any external server
  • Basic device information used by the app at runtime (screen size, OS type)

B. Collected by Third Parties (Advertising Partners)

The Service uses Google AdMob to display advertisements. Google AdMob may collect:

  • Advertising Identifier (AAID)
  • Device information (model, OS version, language settings)

04Data Retention

Because we do not collect personal information directly, we do not retain any user data on our servers. Learning progress stored locally on your device is removed when you uninstall the app or clear its data.

Information collected by advertising partners is retained according to their own privacy policies.

05Third-Party Disclosure

We do not share user information with third parties. However, Google AdMob independently collects information for ad delivery, governed by Google's privacy policy.

06Personalized Ads & Advertising ID

Ads displayed in the Service may be personalized based on your Advertising Identifier (AAID). You can reset your advertising ID or opt out of personalized ads through your device settings.

How to reset your Advertising ID

  • Android: Settings → Google → Ads → Delete advertising ID or Reset advertising ID

07Children's Privacy

The Service does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that such information has been collected, we will delete it promptly.

You may exercise the following rights at any time:

  • Delete locally stored information by uninstalling the app
  • Reset your advertising ID in your device settings
